A new type of open-cell or closed-cell elastic material prepared by supercritical physics or chemical foaming using advanced polymer materials is called POP material. Its raw material thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer TPU is an emerging organic polymer material, which involves light industry, chemical industry, building materials, medical, automotive, national defense, aerospace and so on.
The POP material can achieve 1-5 times closed cell foaming by supercritical physical foaming process, and achieve 1-10 times of open and closed cell foaming by chemical foaming process, and has full resilience of sponge to rubber. In addition, the material itself can also be modified by materials to achieve antibacterial, self-cleaning, gas barrier, self-adhesive, antistatic and other multifunctional new materials.
